Oak Village Homeowner's Association in Sugarmill Woods (HOA) provides night time security but is not the police, makes sure that our greenbelt is healthy, and makes and enforces rules that ensure the community is neat and tidy. It consists of an unpaid Board of Directors who hires an office staff to do the day-to-day work for over 3000 property owners. Dozens of volunteers man the committees and discuss the topics that arise monthly. Property owners meet annually to approve the HOA's budget, vote for necessary changes to our rules and vote for the Board of Directors. The cost to do all this is $155.00 per lot per year.

Notes for above:

Oak Village has security that patrols every night from dusk to dawn. If you plan to be out of town, you can let the office know and our patrol will pay special attention to your home.

Watering restrictions are not set or enforced by Oak Village. Citrus Utilities is responsible for watering restrictions.
